Obama inspired Fashion from Paris

ibuysss.com Magazine

by Nabey Miller ibuysss.com Magazine

It is so cool to see this coming down the run way love him or hate him Obama is making a splash in the fashion World! As reported by NY Mag ” Sonia Rykiel’s spring 2009 collection included sweaters that read “I have a dream” and “Obama.” Jean-Charles de Castelbajac put Barack’s grinning face on a dress paired with gloves that read “yes” and “no” — probably his way of saying “rock the vote.” And at the end of her program notes, Stella McCartney wrote, “P.S. Vote Obama!!”. The clock is ticking down to what it seems has been a super long race for the Whitehouse. It will be seen soon if any help came from The runways of Paris to the Whitehouse.

I love it Oil of Olay’s Definity Eye Illuminator

I am super skeptical of any product that claims to take away age spots, but I found myself seeing some under the eye darkness and so I remembered the commercial for Oil of Olays Definity Eye Illuminator, so I decided to shell out the $29.99 plus tax and give it a try and I could not believe it, I love it, the 1st tingling was super it made my face look extra beautiful and it even started working on my under eye spots right away, my daughter even noticed it, what a great lift. I loved it so much I had to blog about it! And share it with the Magazine! The company states that the product “Olay Definity Eye Illuminator penetrates multiple surface layers and helps restore a look that’s highly defined – truly luminous. Its dual action formula:

* Illuminates the complete eye area and smoothes the look of fine lines and wrinkles with a spiral of concentrated serum
* Strengthens delicate eye skin, firming skin’s outer layers due to a hydrating, intensive clear gel containing essential glucosamine complex

Notice immediately brighter, smoother eyes. Darkness and shadows diminish and eyes appear more luminous.

Fragrance-free. Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist Tested. Non-Greasy. And I must say it is the truth! I want you to know the Company has not paid me any money for this post, it is really refreshing when you can buy a product and it really does as the Company States. Nice!

Cindys McCains Pricey $313,000 outfit could have bought 10 homes!

ibuysss.com Magazine

Nabey Miller ibuysss.com Magazine Staff

It was reported by Vanity Fair “The outfit Cindy McCain wore on the opening day of the Republican National Convention cost between $299,100 and $313,100, Vanity Fair estimates.

McCain’s gold Oscar de la Renta dress cost $3,000 and her heels cost $600, the magazine reports, but it was the accessories that made the ensemble a pricey gambit.

The potential first lady wore three-carat diamond earrings worth an estimated $280,000 as well as a four-strand pearl necklace with a price range between $11,000–$25,000.

She completed the look with a $4,500 Chanel J12 White Ceramic Watch.

“She appreciates very well-made clothes and that have rich, luxurious fabrics,” Sasha Iglehart, Glamour magazine’s deputy fashion director told the Associated Press. “Such clothes could wear the person and she seems to be able to carry it off.”

McCain was accompanied by First Lady Laura Bush, who donned a white Oscar de la Renta suit with a price tag of $2,500. Her Stuart Weitzman heels cost $325 and her pearl stud earrings reportedly cost between $600 and $1,500. It looks like the same old same old spend high while the credit crisis burns! And some Americans loss there homes where I live $313,000 dollar could have bought over 10 homes for the poor. Now that is charity! The continual reporting of such waste is sad and the American people has watched this type of waste for 8 years now. One bright light in all of this is Michelle Obama’s outfits she continues to wear fashion’s that are priced where any American can buy, now that is real change!

Why you should not Build on Blogtalkradio!

by Nabey Miller staff writer ibuysss.com Magazine

ibuysss.com Magazine

We went to do our live radio show on blogtalkradio.com only to find our account disabled. It was a shock as we only offered quality shows and nothing more. Checking the email their was nothing to indicate why we were locked out. Meme Taylor had done a blog post touting an up coming series taking your website to the next level. The magazine will explore how to do that and stay away from online marketing scams.

We called the Company only to get answering machines. The problem is blogtalkradio has a right to pick and choose who they will allow on there network, as do many on-line websites. And in that vane one must know  the Internet it is filled with clicks and just making a lie if emailed to the right party can get you canned. You really do not want to think about that but you must,  doing business in such a click environment you need to think again. Your competition can lie on you just to get rid of you! Why build in a place like that! Ibuysss.com noticed that blogtalkradio had just gotten a new channel Womensday magazine which paid blogtalkradio $2,500 for the station, they began to also showcase them on the front homepage. Yet ibuysss.com Magazine was there before Womensday and was never ever showcased on the front homepage. Ibuysss.com was using the FREE version on blogtalkradio.

After alot of calling and checking they reinstated ibuysss, com Magazine but the Company which owns ibuysss.com Magazine decided to move on. There are now many places to broadcast on-line and the company has moved on.  One must think if you try and build  spend time building traffic to your program on slip or one hate by competition can get you canned it can happen to any one why risk your time  as ibuysss.com magazine had to do it’s own marketing to get traffic to the show the blogtalkradio community does not support most of the shows as one would think. All that hard work only to log on and see you have been disabled without any  reason.

When Fendi showed the Spring Looks the line was filled with stunning clean Haute Couture elements. What I loved and can see this trend emerging is the simple lines in most of the Spring looks, Fendi went for mostly solids where as Pucci offered their classic patterns that many have come to love! When you wear a Pucci it is known. They added clean elegant designs  to their beautiful fabrics.

Growing Green How to Ditch the Chemicals!

Growing Green Ditching the chemicals!
by Nabey Miller ibuysss.com Magazine

As you know the fall is upon us and if you garden it is time to add fertilizers so your crops will come up beautiful in the Spring, or if you want lovely flowers in the Spring it is time to plant bulbs. But the question is what kind of Fertilizers should you use.  As you know Fertilizers and Pesticides and Herbicides are a huge problem on the environment. There are now organic items but you must think ahead to use them as they take longer to break down so the plant can use it to thrive on. It all depends on what you intend to grow. To know which fertilizer you should use. The whole idea of being green is to use natural items. Well because Fall is coming you have a wonderful opportunity to have the best Organic Crop. It all starts with planning. If you have used chemicals in a particular spot do not grow there any more break up a new patch, you will begin to build the soil, if you not build it it will not produce. One great way to grow is to plant your crops up in zones. Such as a zone for Tomatoes, Greens and so on. This is best because you will use different Fertilizers for each crop. Growing organic requires using the right plant food for each particular crop, where as with chemicals you just though a bag of fertilizer in the grown and go. With organics you must only use what will benefit the plant.

Therefore testing the soil is key, many stores offer kits to test the soil, Compost is one of the best things you can do to build the soil.  Start a Compost heap in the Summer to use in the Fall and start a compost heap in the fall to use in the Spring. Compost can be used in the whole garden but it is not the total food the plant will need to produce. If you are growing a wonderful salad mix such as found in some of the most Posh High end resturants you can use fish fertiziler and seaweed, with the compost, if growing tomatoes use wood ashes one place I love to get great tips on Organic Fertilizers is Johnny’s they have great info as well as sell organic items to help you grow, just remember  growing organic requires time and planning the soil needs to be built to produce a good crop. The rewards are great whoever you will be pleased when you see all the produce and know every bit of it is with out those nasty chemicals.

AIG Bail Out

by Nabey Miller ibuysss.com Magazine

When you go to Alexa you will see AIG is one of the most searched words,  it seems that the Federal Government has bailed out AIG to the tune of $85-billion in loan dollars. NBC opened up it’s report on welcome you are now the proud owners of AIG, the federal government has bailed out AIG, I have seen these bailouts come and go but what I want to know is they say that all the time we as tax payers are the owners of these companies we bail out. I remember the Chrysler bailout as well, but what I want to know is when will we the American people get our check you know our profit, if you own a Company and put money in it you are to get a profit out, so the question is when will the American people get it’s check, for all the bailouts. All we get is more and more taxes! Go figure!

Coming Though a Storm

ibuysss.com Magazine

by Meme Taylor ibuysss.com Magazine

Many times we all must go though bad things and what we must learn is to grow out of it it is good to know hard times can make us stronger. Some of the worst things we have had to go though makes us become the very best. I love that part of  Kanye West song “that that doesn’t kill me only makes me stronger”. For Robin Preston she had to over come one of the most darkest times of her life, being abused as a child she has written a book titled Journey of a Lost Child she states ” My mom made me lie to my Dad by threatening my life. She would say to me, “Who do you think he’s going to believe? Me or You? She had me believing that if I told my Dad the truth he would KILL ME. My mind would go back to the time my Dad beat me so fiercely that I bled for six weeks to the point of being so weak I could barely walk. I was made to stay in the house and not go anywhere, not even school until the bruises were all gone. After the bruises were gone my mother then took me to the doctor. I remember the look my mom gave me when the doctor ask what happen. She told the doctor I had fallen down the stairs. I kept remembering how my dad shot our pony between the eyes and killed him”. Now living in Nashville she has over come the hurt and pain and now is an ambassador for hope. Helping children who find themselves in such abuse. She will be a guest on ibuysss.com live radio show on Sept 24 at 1:00 Pm eastern standard time, your calls are well at (914) 338-1435. Her story is truly gripping and you can feel her pain  via her writings, yet the book leaves you with a beautiful hope as you come to see how she over came the abuse. Join us and talk to her live on ibuysss.com Magazine live radio show on Sept 24 2008.

by Nabey Miller ibuysss.com Magazine

Boy there are so many I cannot keep up! I too have my favorites, One I really enjoyed and found myself rooting the winner on and even almost teared up when the one I wanted to win did not. I even wanted to go on there blog and give them a what for post when they kicked him off! But decided not too. They are truly addictive, but I often wondered if the people in them really are just plain old folks that decided to get involed in such. Well as you know cable TV is vast and the home of reruns, therefore I stumbled upon a vintage movie and noticed a familar face on it. I said out load thats the one on my favorite show you know that reality TV show.  Well now I know they just keep circulating the same ones from show to show, so now it leaves one to think, are they now called actors?
